Sunshine and an eclectic mix of motors.Most surprising was the RIP special, the evil child of a Morgan JAP crossed with the back end of a Fraser Nash- driven with brio by its young pilot, his performance truly shaming the official Bugatti Veyron driver (whose time was bettered by a Hillman Imp)Great day out, thanks all!
Another fantastic day at Prescott Hillclimb. Today, as a judge for the Maserati Club Concours.The winner a 1986 Maserati Quattroporte 3, achingly original and what seems 'so suddenly all the dreadful styling of the eighties is forgiven and the ugly duckling turned into a swan!'The man in the cowboy hat is the legend that is Norman Dewis - Jaguar test driver, who generously helped out with our clubs big prize.Other great cars present were John Dugglebys old Riley Special and the final Austin Healey powered by a Rolls Royce 4 litre engine.
