Ma com'è che il web è pieno di gente che butta merda sulla Montecarlo?
The wet weather handling was dangerous. That's why the series 1 montecarlos were withdrawn. The montecarlo (or monyecarlo as you call them) are, were & always will be junk.
I bought a monte carlo lancia a few years ago. Didnt like it 1 bit. My Golf gti Mk1 absolutely blitzed it on performance.
They look good but they're dreadful cars. I had one back in the eighties. It was slow, it dissolved, something fell of every day & it was deadly in the wet. Hot hatches ate it for breakfast. Pretty but a pile of junk.
I had a US equivalent, the Scorpian. Cool to be seen in but a unreliable peice of garbage. I still like the looks but can still hear the wheel bearings going out and the ongoing coolant leaks. Told all my unknowing friends that it was a ferarri dino.
Looked good but that's where the positives end. A truly woeful car to own & drive. I owned one circa 1986 & it was the worst car I ever owned.
The build quality was shocking from the off. The metal was cheap & the electrics were typically Italian (ie abysmal). The handling in the wet was lethal (as road tests of the day proved & why Lancia withdrew it mid-run). Looked great but that's where the good news ends
E' incredibile, cerco sempre di farmi un'opinione sulle macchine facendomi un giro sul web, sui forum, sui commenti su youtube, e non hai mai visto tanta gente spalare merda su una macchina con così tanta energia!
